Extract from The Snakes : ‘I am Guarding this Horrible House’
In the tense finale of The Snakes, Madame Diss (Claire Lacey) takes one last chance to express her horror at France (Kélina Gotman) and at her terrible son, who won’t let her in and who obliges her to guard the house. France will not return until the winter has passed: until the corn buds again and it is time once more for the fireworks, when Nancy will exit again and a new cycle will begin.
